The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Unit will be holding
its 6th annual Amnesty Week for pet owners to purchase pet licenses at a
reduced cost. The event will be held
during the week of November 3-9, 2014.
Licenses may only be purchased at the reduced price at the following
locations and times: the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office November 3, & 5-7
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and November 8 & 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m.; the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department on November 3 from 5:30 p.m. to
7:30 p.m.; the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department on November 5 from
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and the Solomons Volunteer Fire Department on November
6 from 5:30 p.m. to7:30 p.m. The cost
for a spayed/neutered pet will be $3.00 and non-spayed/non-neutered pets will
be $10.00. A copy of the pet’s current
rabies vaccination and proof of spay or neuter will need to be provided to
purchase the pet license. Cash or check
will be accepted.
