On April 26, 2016, the U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary recognized the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office for its participation in
the Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program. Each year the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Drum
Point Flotilla, places their boxes containing pamphlets in establishments
throughout Calvert County. The program is designed to promote recreational
boating safety on the waters in our area.
It provides the boating public with safety information, up-to-date
