During the week of December 21 through December
27 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,170 calls for service throughout the
community.

CDS Violation Case
#15-69384:
On December 27, 2015 Deputy N. Gilmore conducted a traffic stop on Rt.
4, south of Plum Point Road, Huntingtown, and made contact with the driver, Renee Patterson, 28, of Chesapeake Beach and passenger Lea Foster, 30, of Huntingtown. Patterson
was found to be in possession CDS (Suboxone, Adderall) and paraphernalia
(straw, wrapper). While being processed
at the Detention Center, she was also charged with two (2) counts of taking
contraband into a place of confinement.
Foster was arrested for possession of CDS (Suboxone, Adderall) and
paraphernalia (wrapper).

CDS Violation Case
#15-69353:
On December 26, 2015 Deputy R. Kreps initiated a traffic
stop on a vehicle he observed being driven in an unsafe manner. The driver, Jennifer Carlton, 32, of
North Beach, was arrested for possession of CDS (Alprazolam) and for multiple
traffic violations, including Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was transported to the Detention Center.

On December 25, 2015 Deputy J. Denton conducted a traffic
stop on a vehicle driving in an unsafe manner.
The impaired driver, David Foard,
46, of St. Leonard was found to
be in possession of Oxycontin. He was
arrested and transported to the Detention Center.

Destruction of
Property Case #15-68964:
Deputy K. Williamson responded to Hilendale Way, in Prince
Frederick, for a reported destruction of property, which took place sometime overnight
on December 23, 2015. An unknown person
damaged a fence, allowing horses to leave their enclosure. If anyone observed suspicious activity in the
area, they are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

On December 23, 2015 Deputy C. Ward responded to Dunleigh
Court, in Dunkirk, for the report of a destruction of property. During the overnight hours of December 22, an
unknown person had smashed the window of the victim’s vehicle with an unknown
tool. Nothing appears to have been stolen.
Disorderly Conduct
Case #15-68687:
On December 22, 2015 Deputy T. Mohler was dispatched to a
business on West Ward Road, in Dunkirk, for the report of a disorderly
person. Susan Scaduto, 52, of Lusby,
was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested for Trespassing, Alcohol
Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Fail to Obey a Lawful Order.

Theft Case #15-68802:
On December 23, 2015 Deputy C. Ward was called to Dunleigh
Drive, in Dunkirk, for the report of a theft from a vehicle. During the overnight hours on December 22,
the victim’s vehicle window was broken and a purse was stolen.

On December 23, 2015 Deputy C. Ward was called to Lyons
Creek Road, in Dunkirk, for the report of a theft from vehicle. During the overnight hours on December 22,
the victim’s vehicle was broken into and a purse was stolen. The purse and its’ contents were later found
in a neighbor’s yard.

On December 26, 2015 Deputy A. Curtin responded to a report
of a shoplifter at the Giant Grocery Store in Dunkirk. He arrested Maggie Williams, 31, of
Upper Marlboro, for theft, providing a false name and possession of drug
paraphernalia (straw). She was
transported to the Detention Center and also served with two (2) open Warrants
from Prince George’s County.

#15-68648:
On December 22, 2015 Deputy Y. Bortchevsky was dispatched to
the Giant Grocery Store in Lusby for the report of a shoplifting. An unknown male was observed with several
containers of seafood and left the store without paying for the items.

On December 27, 2015 Deputy T. Mohler was called to
Hallowing Point Road, in Prince Frederick, for the report of a theft. Someone had stolen a 2’ x 3’ magnet (picture
of a boy) from the side of the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact
the Sheriff’s Office.

On December 23, 2015 Deputy R. Weems responded to a theft on
Crazy Horse Trail, in Lusby. A heat pump
had been removed from the rear of the residence. It is unknown when the theft occurred, due to
the home having been vacant for approximately 6 - 12 months.

On December 23, 2015 Deputy M. Naecker responded to the
report of a theft which took place at the Marriott Springhill Suites, in Prince
Frederick. Sometime between 9:00am - 9:00pm on December
21, someone entered a hotel room and removed multiple pieces of jewelry.
